The garden of Villa Andrea extends over large terraces and green spaces, with lush and meticulously cared for vegetation. Centuries-old trees, seasonal flowers and artistic flowerbeds create a suggestive panorama, ideal for walks, photographs and moments of contemplation immersed in the nature of Cilento.
The outdoor spaces are designed for prestigious events and weddings in the villa, with natural settings that enhance every moment of the day: from the aperitif at sunset, to the outdoor ceremony, up to the evening receptions immersed in an elegant and refined context.
SUITE
The suites of Villa Andrea in Paestum welcome guests in exclusive environments, reachable via a suggestive spiral staircase in emerald marble with wrought iron handrail. Bright spaces, with attention to the smallest details, where warm shades and fine materials create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a stay dedicated to comfort and well-being.
One of the richest collections of my works is, without a doubt, that owned by Mr. Giacomo Franco, displayed in plain sight in his "Villa Andrea". A jewel of a modern villa, known for the organization of wedding events, located in a splendid hilly position in the Capaccio Paestum area.
The collection includes a significant number of pictorial works that span a broad span of my artistic research: works that differ in theme, technique and period of creation. On the walls of the large rooms are exhibited works to which I am deeply attached: pastel drawings, gouaches, mixed techniques and large colored canvases from the 1990s. These are works that represent particularly significant moments for me, stages of an intense journey of research and experimentation. In fact, we move from the poetic delicacy of a small reclining figure, barely hinted at in a watercolor in light pink tones, to the energetic turbulences expressed through signs, touches and rapid brush strokes on happily framed papers, much loved by me.
A large monochrome canvas, entitled The shape of time, exhibited in the central room, stands out for the rhythmic composure of the shapes in natural sand, devoid of any pictorial intrusiveness and in harmony with a nearby universe, still alive among the ruins of Paestum: that of archaeological time, which gives the work a mythical and evocative dimension.
Among the many others scattered on the "domestic" walls, and which I also consider interesting, I like to remember a spectacular work, which dominates the brightest room of the villa, of which I remember the title and year: Graffiti, 1994. It represents a period of my life full of energy: I painted large-scale works, characterized by intense chromatic masses, almost "Pictorial Walls", as an art critic from Verona had defined them in one of his newspaper articles.
As is evident, I have the intimate pleasure of being able to reread my artistic journey in a truly unique setting, where each work continues to give me fragments of memory, emotions and visions that I still feel deeply alive today.
Given what has been said, I feel privileged to see how much care and attention is paid to the context surrounding my works, both within Villa Andrea and in its immediate surrounding landscape.
Everything contributes to making even a single moment of stay in the Villa precious. The choice of works of art as a visual and emotional "outline", the silent dialogue between spaces, light and landscape transform each environment into a place of refined aesthetic sensitivity...capable of enhancing the perception of an unusual artistic experience, in which I can recognize myself and get excited every time I come here and relive my creative story.
